It was her birthday yesterday and im totally broke ........
but the best gifts are always handmade and heartfelt ones anyway.
- A few appliqued handmade teatowels from vintage and thrifted cottons
- A little pillow made from Vietnamese silk mum bought me and my very first finished Sashiko project
- A vintage hankerchief embroidered specially for mum
- A lavender filled heart embroidered with a lavender

These gifts are utterly perfect. I love them. I wish I was your mum (well, you know what I mean). LOVE the sashiko. I think I could really get into sashiko in a big way, if I let myself...
Beautiful! I'm sure your Mum would have loved them. I especially love your Sashiko embroidery. This is something I am really keen to try.
